Roof Garden - Albergo del Rosario
We – as Canobbio– were commissioned to design, supply and install the ETFE double layer pneumatic cushion cover of the roof garden of the historical ALBERGO DEL ROSARIO which is scheduled to reopen after more than twenty years of closure under the name Habita79 and the classification as a 4-star superior hotel.
“Habita79 will be a design hotel with 79 rooms, a restaurant with 150-person capacity, a spa, 2 conference rooms each with 100 seating capacity and a multipurpose space measuring 400 m2 equipped with kitchen and a 200-person capacity. The facility also allows to organise events on the roof garden with a view of the excavations. An international hotel chain whose name is yet to be disclosed will be entrusted with the management of the hotel”
The cover consists of 38 pneumatic cushions with double layer silk screen-printed supported by a structure made of pipes and cables tensioned covering a surface of about 800 mq.
