The symbol par excellence of a special sports facility for Canobbio Textile.

The steel arch structure was covered with an innovative material designed, produced and installed by Canobbio Textile. It is made of fibreglass coated with orange silicone for a play area measuring about 850 m2.

The structure designed by the firm B+C Architects studio is described as follows:

“Due to its closed position, the insertion of the new cover could not go unnoticed given its volume. It had to be done “gently”, without aggressiveness and taking into account the highly dense scale of the surrounding urban fabric. In view of this, the light roof was conceived as a protective coat which, anchored securely to the ground, surrounds the sports field with a variable geometry whose shape was adapted in response to the various urban or sporting restrictions”.
